The following is intended to assist you and/or your attorney in drafting a gift that accurately reflects your wishes. There are four main categories of gifts that may be made to Yuan Tze Ren Xue Center, Inc., d/b/a Ren Xue of the Americas, a California nonprofit public benefit corporation ("RXA"), through your Will, Trust or beneficiary designation. We always recommend consulting with a qualified legal professional to ensure your wishes are properly documented.

Contingent Gifts

A contingent gift is only given if all beneficiaries named under your Will or Trust predecease you. Naming RXA as a contingent beneficiary offers a valuable alternative, ensuring your assets may be directed to a meaningful cause if your beneficiaries are unable to receive your estate.

Contingent Gift Language

If all of the beneficiaries designated under my Will or Trust do not survive me, then I give the residuary of my estate to Yuan Tze Ren Xue Center, Inc., DBA Ren Xue of the Americas (Tax ID: 27-4625540), a California nonprofit public benefit corporation, or its successor, for its general purposes.

Restricted Gifts for Specific Use

If you desire for your gift to support a specific program or purpose you may designate the purpose or program such gift is intended to support. While restricted gifts are welcome, allowing RXA flexibility in connection with such gifts ensures RXA is able to respond to the changing needs and pursue its greatest impact.

Restricted Language for Specific Use

If it becomes impossible or impractical to use my gift for the purposes I have designated, I direct that my gift be used in a manner that closely aligns with the purposes stated herein, as determined by Yuan Tze Ren Xue Center, Inc., in its sole discretion.

Retirement Plan Beneficiary Language

You may name Ren Xue of the Americas as a beneficiary of your IRA or other qualified retirement benefits. Naming RXA as a beneficiary of a retirement plan can be a tax-efficient way to make a meaningful gift as these assets can be heavily taxed when passed to heirs.
