In Ren Xue, enlightenment is an important milestone on the path to realization and wisdom. Ming Yuan (Cultivating Wisdom), the last method of Yuan Qigong, focuses on enabling enlightenment. Ming Yuan is very different than the previous methods – the practice takes place in every moment of our lives - driving, shopping, even having an argument. Ming Yuan introduces us to Jue Cha, or pure awareness. Jue Cha is more than just self-observation. In self-observation, we are watching ourselves with our minds. In Jue Cha, the observer is the True Self.
While our minds are always ready to trick us into believing something that will fortify the false self, watching from the True Self is clear vision, clear understanding. It is powerful and it is true freedom. Jue Cha requires a relaxed, calm, natural and unified state to manifest and dedicated persistence to maintain. Ming Yuan helps us to develop both. Each moment of life in which we glimpse our True Nature is a gift.
To begin a practice, the Ming Yuan course is available on At Home Learning.
