Did you experience deep gratitude during the video in the last topic? Did you feel its strength and permeating presence? What about now? Has gratitude remained or faded?. It  can be difficult to maintain gratitude when patterns get triggered – and they tend to get triggered often.

One of the patterns that make maintaining gratitude particularly challenging is having excessive expectations. When we hold exaggerated preconceptions about how things should go or how people should behave, we are setting ourselves up to be at odds with reality! Exaggerated Expectations is the domain of “should” and anything that falls short leaves us angry or disappointed – emotions that are antithetical to gratitude.
